🎬 Synopsis Writer – Remote (UK-Based) | £45–£50/hr | 6-Month Contract
We’re looking for a creative and versatile writer to join a global content merchandising team, helping audiences discover great entertainment through engaging, concise synopses of movies and TV shows.
📍 Location: Remote (UK-based preferred)
🕒 Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday
💰 Rate: £45–£50 per hour
📅 Contract: 6 months (PAYE)
What You’ll Do:
- Write compelling synopses in English for content from German-speaking, Benelux, and Central & Eastern European markets
- Collaborate with a Writing Strategist to meet editorial briefs and market needs
- Craft inclusive, accurate, and creative copy across genres — from reality TV to historical dramas
What We’re Looking For:
- Native-level proficiency in English and Dutch, Polish, or German
- Strong short form writing and editing skills, ideally with experience in entertainment journalism or content writing
- Familiarity with AP style and excellent attention to detail
- Research skills to quickly gather and synthesize context
- A collaborative mindset and openness to feedback
Bonus Skills:
- Experience writing for streamers, broadcasters, or entertainment platforms
