We’re looking for a People Advisor to join a collaborative, high-performing People & Culture team on a two-year journey to deliver exceptional support while developing your expertise.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of the people team, supporting People Partners with Employee Relations cases, coaching and upskilling managers and acting as the first point of contact for managers and employees. You’ll provide pragmatic, timely advice on everything from performance and wellbeing to employee relations, while contributing to projects that enhance engagement and culture.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Be the go-to advisor for people queries, offering clear, practical guidance that builds trust and confidence.
  • Support employee relations cases alongside experienced People Business Partners, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes. This role will require you to lead end to end on grievances, disciplinaries, performance management and work with Managers to uplift capability.
  • Upskill managers through training and coaching, empowering them to lead confidently.
  • Drive engagement initiatives and projects that make the employee experience better every day.
  • Turn data into insight, spotting trends and shaping decisions that matter.
  • Play a key role in onboarding and lifecycle processes, ensuring every employee feels supported from day one.

About You

  • Experience as a People Advisor or HR generalist in a complex environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practice.
  • ER experience, grievances, disciplinaries, PIPs, absences etc. You will have managed end to end performance management cases.
  • Confident advising managers and building trusted relationships.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable balancing day-to-day queries with longer-term priorities.
  • Collaborative and passionate about creating a positive workplace culture.
  • Be able to start early January.
