You’ll lead discovery and design focused on differentiating our free and premium experiences, helping customers understand the value of upgrading while ensuring clarity and trust. You’ll collaboratively help us define user centred, commercially impactful patterns of our freemium model, and rules around how we implement these patterns. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across product, e-commerce, legal, and engineering to bring commercially impactful, user-centric solutions to life.
What You’ll Do
- Lead discovery and user research to identify and validate freemium models and monetisation opportunities with a human centred lens.
- Design user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes that clearly articulate the value of premium experiences across website and app.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to align design solutions with business goals.
- Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions to explore experience improvements.
- Deliver end-to-end design solutions, from early concepts through to polished UI in Figma.
- Champion accessibility and usability, ensuring our products meet user needs and regulatory requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience designing digital products, with case studies specifically covering e-commerce and subscription-based digital SaaS businesses. A case study with feature gating would be preferred.

- Comfortable with ambiguity, able to frame and define problems and explore different options.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, able to work across teams and senior stakeholders.
- Fluent in Figma and other whiteboarding or prototyping tools.
- Strong understanding of freemium models and how to design experiences that drive conversion and retention.
- Experience planning and conducting user research.
- A commercial mindset, with an appreciation for balancing user needs and business outcomes.
- Familiarity with experimentation, analytics, and measuring design impact.
