My client is one of the top 5 global tech brands, they are looking for a Head of Public Sector Marketing who will be responsible for creating and leading marketing strategies aimed at government agencies and public organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Marketing Projects: Take initiative to drive marketing outcomes for products/projects by managing tasks and guiding workstreams.
- Conduct Research & Analysis: Lead user research, and market analysis, and gather insights to provide recommendations to the team about products and features.
- Develop User Journeys: Work with different teams to create user journeys and lifecycle strategies for current and future consumers.
- Identify Growth Opportunities: Find ways to grow user numbers, increase engagement with new features, and boost adoption of existing features.
- Create Marketing Strategies: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute marketing strategies and plans.
- Project Management: Help define project scopes, manage priorities, and allocate resources effectively.
- Set & Measure Goals: Set ambitious but achievable goals, then track and measure success.
- Lead Projects: Plan and manage projects, ensuring everything stays on track and is completed on time.
- Manage Stakeholder Interests: Balance competing priorities from different teams and keep everyone updated on project progress.
- Proactively Find Opportunities: Look for new ways to improve processes and drive business growth.
- Solve Problems: Use different approaches to solve problems and find the best solutions.
- Build New Processes: Create new processes, methods, and features to address future challenges.
- Make Smart Business Decisions: Prioritise the most impactful ideas that will drive growth and make decisions confidently.
Main focus areas
- Drive mind-share and demand-generation activities such as events, social, and advocacy programs.
- Track and analyse the effectiveness of our marketing activities to monitor ROI and progress against key business objectives.
- Generate demand for my clients products by landing integrated campaigns and marketing activities in the UK Public Sector.
- Create and execute UK Public Sector marketing activities, working with multiple, matrixed stakeholders to craft messaging, content, and channel strategy.
To be considered you must have
- Proven Senior B2B Marketing experience ideally within the public sector or government along with Tech Marketing experience.
- Proven success in Project Management including budget management, agency coordination.
- Complex stakeholder relationship management.
- Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and analytical abilities, with a focus on data-driven optimisation.
- In-depth knowledge of a broad range of cloud, advertising, and productivity tools.
