Location: Onsite – London (near Euston/ Warren Street)
Length: ASAP – 01/07/2026 (possible extension)
Rate: From £35.10+ per hour (from 73K+ equivalent)
Hours: 9am-6pm (40 hours)
Job Description:
The Government & Social Impact team (GSI) mission is to help government & social impact partners understand and use technologies to build trust, empower people, and create community. This team supports all government, elections and nonprofit partners globally and that is done through a backbone of several interconnected data sets to identify this dynamic audience.
The GSI team is seeking a data manager to manage and maintain our GSI civic data sets. This role is responsible for reviewing these data sets to ensure compliant and equitable partner support in the government and elections space. This role requires a person who is detail-oriented, capable of analyzing and reviewing large data sets, collaborating and building relationships with our GSI partner managers, data managers and auditors.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the preparation, review, and maintenance our managed partner set (MPS) made up of country specific government and political data.
- Partnering with regional GSI partner managers to review the MPS books, provide recommendations based on the company policy and guidelines.
- Prepare manual lists based on desk research and workbooks of government and political data.
- Collaborating the GSI team to review and update GSI data during elections, ad-hoc requests, and escalations.
- Support includes extracting, reviewing and preparing data to upload into the MPS from upstream data sets and manual lists.
- Ensuring our partner data and processes are compliant with company policies and enable equitable partner support in the government and elections space.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to test system updates, monitor and assess data pipeline signals, identify issues or anomalies, and ensure the technical execution aligns with the business vision & objectives.
- Analyse complex support flows, conduct root-cause analysis and provide recommendations for process, policy, and product improvements to drive efficiency & effectiveness and ensure essential team goals are met.
- Track and analyse key operational metrics to deeply understand the support ecosystem and help determine where to focus optimization efforts.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in data operations, or other relevant space leading large scale global projects or programs.
- Experience analysing and using data in solving and providing practical business insights, including reviewing and validating dashboards and reports, ensuring they accurately reflect key insights and metrics.
- Practical experience reading or querying SQL databases.
- Ability to use data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Excel) to extract, manipulate, and interpret data for business insights and monitoring performance and integrity of data pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the government and elections space, including international politics, political parties, world leaders and national legislators.
- 2+ years in software engineering, systems engineering, or technical product/program management.
- 2+ years with scripting languages (e.g., Python), and/or statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R).
- Experience developing and maintaining data pipelines.

- Be able to communicate with internal partners.
- Technical expertise, being able to use data analytic tools, queering, SQL data bases (reading and queering data bases), and testing engineering pipelines in new product roll outs (all internally).
