This stand-alone role, embedded within the wider HR function, requires a seasoned professional with in-depth expertise in pensions, employment and benefits tax, National Insurance, and other associated taxation areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership in Payroll Operations: Manage the Group’s payroll function with precision, ensuring all payroll deadlines are consistently met.
- Compliance and Accuracy: Maintain the highest standards of accuracy, adhering to audit protocols, legislative requirements, best practices, and internal policies in areas such as pay, income tax, pensions, and rewards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and nurture relationships with an external payroll provider to ensure seamless operations.
- Adaptability to Workforce Dynamics: Confidently manage payroll processes for a diverse and fluctuating workforce, including freelancers and contract workers.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
