A prestigious global production and distribution group is seeking an experienced and proactive Payroll Manager to join their team. This stand-alone role, embedded within the wider HR function, requires a seasoned professional with in-depth expertise in pensions, employment and benefits tax, National Insurance, and other associated taxation areas. Key Responsibilities: Leadership in Payroll Operations: Manage the Group’s payroll function with precision, ensuring all payroll deadlines are consistently met. Compliance and Accuracy: Maintain the highest standards of accuracy, adhering to audit protocols, legislative requirements, best practices, and internal policies in areas such as pay, income tax, pensions, and rewards. Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and nurture relationships with an external payroll provider to ensure seamless operations. Adaptability to Workforce Dynamics: Confidently manage payroll processes for a diverse and fluctuating workforce, including freelancers and contract workers.+ Ideal Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will bring experience from small to medium-sized organizations, a proven ability to work effectively with external payroll providers, and expertise in electronic payroll systems. A strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, taxation, and National Insurance rules is essential. This role is Hybrid – 3 days a week in London
