We're partnering with a leading global consumer brand to find an experienced Illustration Consultant to help evolve and define a distinctive illustration language as part of an ongoing brand transformation. This is not a blank-sheet creative project. You'll build upon an existing illustration direction, refining it into a scalable visual system that can be adopted across marketing, digital products, CRM and customer experiences.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and refine a distinctive illustration style and visual language.
  • Create illustration principles, guidelines and governance documentation.
  • Define composition, shape language, colour usage and levels of complexity.
  • Produce exemplar illustrations demonstrating the system in practice.
  • Collaborate closely with brand, design and stakeholder teams.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience developing illustration systems or visual languages for recognised brands.
  • Outstanding portfolio showcasing branded illustration work.
  • Strong vector illustration skills.
  • Advanced Figma experience.
  • Experience working across both marketing and digital product environments.
  • Ability to create scalable frameworks, guidelines and design systems.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI-assisted creative workflows.
  • Previous consultancy or freelance brand-system engagements.
