Our client is a dynamic entertainment company driven by creativity, technology, and a passion for powerful storytelling. From scripted dramas and feature films to cutting-edge formats and digital content, they develop and produce material that resonates with global audiences.

They are on the lookout for a part qualified accountant to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and post month-end including P&L, cash flow, and KPI variance analysis with commentary.
  • Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and post interest and depreciation.
  • Manage intercompany recharges in coordination with group companies.
  • Support UK film productions, including SPV setup and coordination with production accountants.
  • Assist Accounts Receivable with invoicing and cash collection.
  • Perform VAT checks and prepare quarterly VAT returns.
  • Support statutory and grant audits.
  • Maintain group reporting tools and contribute to system improvements and implementations.
  • Participate in ad hoc financial projects and reporting as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Part qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA etc)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a finance role.
  • Strong Excel skills (nested formulas, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables).
  • Highly organized, proactive, and deadline driven.
  • Detail-oriented with a positive, problem-solving attitude.
  • Experience with SAP or similar accounting systems.
  • Passion for the film and media industry, with regular engagement in content.
