Our client is a dynamic entertainment company driven by creativity, technology, and a passion for powerful storytelling. From scripted dramas and feature films to cutting-edge formats and digital content, they develop and produce material that resonates with global audiences.
They are on the lookout for a part qualified accountant to join their finance team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and post month-end including P&L, cash flow, and KPI variance analysis with commentary.
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and post interest and depreciation.
- Manage intercompany recharges in coordination with group companies.
- Support UK film productions, including SPV setup and coordination with production accountants.
- Assist Accounts Receivable with invoicing and cash collection.
- Perform VAT checks and prepare quarterly VAT returns.
- Support statutory and grant audits.
- Maintain group reporting tools and contribute to system improvements and implementations.
- Participate in ad hoc financial projects and reporting as needed.
- Part qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA etc)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a finance role.
- Strong Excel skills (nested formulas, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables).
- Highly organized, proactive, and deadline driven.
- Detail-oriented with a positive, problem-solving attitude.
- Experience with SAP or similar accounting systems.
- Passion for the film and media industry, with regular engagement in content.
