We’re working with a leading strategic comms agency to hire a Social Media Lead / Strategist to own and evolve their social media offering across strategy, creativity and client advisory.

About the Role

This is a senior role for someone who wants to set the social agenda, challenge creative thinking and act as a trusted advisor to high-profile clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-channel social strategies and campaigns across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and emerging platforms
  • Own campaign architecture, content planning, creative direction and performance reporting
  • Act as the agency’s social expert, shaping best practice, innovation and emerging formats
  • Provide senior-level client advisory aligned to brand and business objectives
  • Partner with creative, paid and consultancy teams on integrated campaigns
  • Contribute to pitches, audits and new business
  • Mentor and develop junior and mid-level talent

Qualifications

  • Strong agency-side social media experience managing diverse client portfolios
  • Proven involvement in winning new business through strategy and pitch work
  • Deep platform knowledge and confidence using social tools and analytics
  • A strategic thinker who’s still hands-on
  • Confident presenting to senior stakeholders and C-suite audiences
  • Passionate, curious and commercially minded
