We’re partnering with a well-known media organisation to appoint a Senior People Manager to join their established People team on a 14 month maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment and enjoys being truly hands-on across employee relations and manager coaching.

Supporting a large Editorial client group of circa 960 employees, you’ll work closely with stakeholders up to Managing Editor level, partnering with leaders on a broad range of complex and high-volume ER matters including:

  • Performance and conduct cases
  • Sickness and absence management
  • Flexible working requests

This role is heavily ER focused and relationship-led, with a real focus on BAU people support rather than project work. Confidence influencing and coaching senior stakeholders is essential.

Experience supporting fast paced creative populations and/or working within unionised environments would be highly advantageous, although flexibility can be shown here. Must be happy to travel into the central London office 3 days a week.
