This client is a global leader in Market Research, the role offers the possibility of being fully remote, with occasional (once monthly) travel to London. The client is looking to implement significant savings on their external contract spends, and this role will play a major part in delivering those savings globally by analysing contracts, making strategic recommendations, and working with partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Review and Analysis: Design and implement a scalable audit process for all contracts across global markets. Conduct in-depth audits of third-party contracts, prioritising high-volume markets and those with significant spend. Assess and improve the current state of contract management, rationalise agreements, standardise formats, and update clauses as needed, including regulatory and cyber security considerations. Evaluate contracts for outdated terms, incorrect supplier data, and missing KPIs or SLAs.
  • Process Evaluation and Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in supplier contracts and propose strategies for streamlining. Recommend solutions for consistent contract templates, supplier performance metrics, and compliance requirements. Develop processes to ensure contract details remain up-to-date, including supplier data, contract ownership, and regulatory compliance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, legal, and finance teams to ensure alignment in contract management.
  • Efficiency and Compliance Optimization: Create recommendations for a consistent process to negotiate, sign, and store contracts across global markets. Ensure all contracts adhere to legal and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, cyber security). Suggest improvements to supplier management, including the incorporation of KPIs and reporting.

Success Measures:

  • Delivery of KPIs and SLAs related to the Operations Modernisation Programme, with specific focus on third-party contracts.
  • Implementation of effective, end-to-end contract management practices within the Operations team.
  • Adherence to procurement governance processes.
  • Establishment of a framework to ensure ongoing health and compliance of procurement processes.
