Job Description
Warehouse/stores person
Our client, a rapidly expanding and successful electrical wholesaler are looking to recruit an experienced warehouse/stores person with previous electrical wholesale experience.
Working from their Birmingham warehouse responsible for assisting in the smooth and safe running of the warehouse. Loads of scope to progress within the company.
Reporting to the Branch manager you will report on any issues or suggestions of improvement to ensure the warehouse continues to run smoothly and that inventory and stock control runs "like Clockwork".
Additional duties include:
Dealing with customer stock issues and following up with full investigations and corrective actions.
Dealing with deliveries, checking stock sheets match product received.
Stock Control, handling returns and damaged stock.
Loading vans for customer orders.
Forklift driving
Following health & safety guidelines
Keeping all areas clean and tidy
Identify and report on slow moving stock
Processing returns
Remain confident, methodical & effective under pressure
Salary Basic £30,000 - £35,000.
No weekend working
