(A Japanese IT firm with an office in London) is seeking a Sales professional.

Responsibilities

  • Account Management & Growth: Prospect, build deep relationships with, and expand business across key enterprise accounts (particularly Japanese Automotive OEMs and manufacturing clients).
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute structured enterprise sales strategies, including account planning, stakeholder mapping, and long-term customer engagement.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify, qualify, and cultivate new business opportunities for custom system development, AI applications, and DX solutions.
  • Executive Pitching: Deliver high-level presentations and pitch advanced IT/DX solutions to senior executives and key decision-makers.
  • Requirement Gathering: Work closely with clients to gather detailed technical and business requirements for custom application and software solutions.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal technical teams, project managers, and engineers to create comprehensive proposals.
  • Commercial Negotiations: Lead contract negotiations, define scope of work (SOW), and negotiate commercial terms through to deal closure.
  • Sales Operations Support: Assist the Sales Manager with team coordination, sales planning, revenue forecasting, and KPI tracking.
  • Internal Coordination: Manage internal project tasks, facilitate cross-departmental alignment, and prepare regional reporting.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B enterprise sales or consultative selling within the IT industry.
  • Direct experience dealing with Japanese corporate clients, with a deep understanding of Japanese corporate culture and decision-making processes.
  • Proven track record in enterprise account management.
  • Experience selling enterprise applications or system development (e. g., SAP, manufacturing systems, production management) with strong domain knowledge in the Automotive or Manufacturing sectors.
  • Also welcome: Experience proposing AI, DX, data analytics, or operational efficiency solutions to enterprise clients (prior Automotive/Manufacturing industry experience is not required for candidates with this background).
  • Preferred: Technical knowledge of modern software development lifecycles, enterprise architecture, or AI integration.
  • Business-level fluency or higher in both Japanese and English.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within Europe approximately once a month.
  • Must have the work permission in the UK.
