Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, servicing and repairs on HGVs
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults
  • Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Minimise vehicle downtime through efficient repairs and maintenance
  • Maintain accurate records of all work completed
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous HGV Mechanic experience is essential
  • Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Time-served HGV Mechanic (formal qualifications not required)

Pay Rates (Depending on Experience):

  • £14.00 per hour - 1 years' HGV mechanic experience
  • £15.50 per hour - 2 to 4 years' HGV mechanic experience
  • £17.50 per hour - 5+ years' HGV mechanic experience with strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
