CareerMakers Recruitment are currently looking for Van Drivers based in Warrington, WA1.

Duties:

  • Loading and unloading your own Vans
  • Delivering and interacting with customers
  • Must be willing to pick your own orders when required
  • Must be willing to assist in the Warehouse when needed

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday – Friday (7.45am - 5:30pm)

Details:

  • On going Work
  • Temp to Perm
  • £14.38 per hour (holiday included)

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a van to transport goods or passengers to their destinations
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients during pick-up and drop-off

Skills:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to operate a van or similar vehicle
  • Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles
  • Knowledge of local roads and routes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required

Please note that experience with tractor-trailers, courier services, forklifts, warehouse operations, pallet jacks, or route driving is a plus, but not required for this position.
