On behalf of our client, Careermakers are now looking to recruit full – time professional vehicle preparation operatives to join the Events and Buggies team The role includes: * Assisting the yard team in getting vehicles ready for de Cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles * Cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles * The safe use of high-pressure cleaning and vacuuming equipment * Moving vehicles around on site * Inspecting all vehicles up on delivery and collection to ensure that any defects or damage is recorded * Where appropriate to identify any faults on the vehicles and report as necessary * Completing all necessary handover paperwork, such as rental check sheets etc., ensuring that all details are correct and accurate. * Taking reasonable care of your own health and safety, and to take reasonable care not to put other people – fellow employees and members of the public – at risk by what you do or don’t do in the course of your work * Communicating any issues with other team members * Proving excellent customer service when meeting and greeting customers * As a Valeter you will ensure that each vehicle is prepared to our own high standards. * You will need a PPE – safety boots and high viz * Work wear – dark cargo type trousers or black jeans, dark polo t-shirt, dark sweatshirt or jumper, coat You need to present: * Full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with a clean driving record with no traffic violations * Great attention to detail * Good communication and teamwork skills * The knowledge and initiative to solve basic problems and make routine decisions * The ability to complete paperwork in an orderly fashion * Strong organisational and prioritisation skills * No more than 6 points on your licence with no major endorsements (DR10, IN10, CU80, TT99, CD10) About job: * We are looking someone, who will be able to take of the duties independently, without excessive supervision. * Ideal candidate will want and will be able to take advantage of the offered career development options and will appreciate the family atmosphere in the team * Possibilities of personal growth and development * Taking part in exciting events with buggies shows * Five days per week, Monday to Friday with overtime available * Pay: £12.80-£14.34 per hour * Work starts at 7.30 am * 8-hour shifts About our client: Company you will work for is a fast-growing Car Hire with lot of possibilities and opportunities for future.
