Careermakers is recruiting part-time professional experienced Vehicle Collection & Delivery drivers to complement our client current team. As one of our drivers you will be provided with vehicle movements for collection and delivery of a commercial vehicles from a multitude of locations for businesses retail customers. No multidrop! About our client: * Company you will work for is a well-known and fast-growing Car Hire with lot of possibilities and opportunities for future. * It is located within 10 miles of 93.4% of the UK population * 65 years’ experience across every industry * 95% of the UK\’s leading motor insurers * Providing outstanding UK customer support. * Supply the largest national network vehicles in the UK The role includes: * Delivery & collection of vehicles * Taking a driver to collect a vehicle or picking a driver up who has made a delivery * Preparation of company vehicles * Identify any fleet maintenance issues * Deliver world class customer service * Accurate completion of all relevant paperwork * You will need a PPE – safety boots and high viz * Work wear – dark cargo type trousers or black jeans, dark polo t-shirt, dark sweatshirt or jumper, coat. You need to present: * Valid driving licence and a clean driving record with no traffic violations, with a minimum 1 year of van driving experience is required * Good communication and teamwork skills * The knowledge and initiative to solve basic problems and make routine decisions * Ability to adapt to the needs of the business * Exceptional customer service skills * A keen and enthusiastic nature * Strong organisational and prioritisation skills * No more than 6 points on your licence with no major endorsements (DR10, IN10, CD40, TT99, MS90) About job: * Work starts between 7 am and 7.30 am * Work is temporary, ongoing, between 2 and 5 shifts per week Monday to Friday with overtime available * Pay rate: £13.68
