We are recruiting for a Trainee Registered Manager to support the management of a children's residential home within an established care provider. This is a developmental role combining leadership responsibilities with shift work, offering a clear pathway into a Registered Manager position.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Standards
- Lead, supervise, and develop staff
- Promote safeguarding and the welfare of children
- Maintain accurate records and care plans
- Work with external professionals and agencies
Requirements
- Aged 21 or over
- Full UK driving licence
- Minimum 2 years' experience in children's residential care
- At least 1 year in a Senior or Team Leader role
- NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Services
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and legislation
- Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
