The Role: We are currently recruiting a reliable and experienced Class 2 (Cat C) Driver to operate a beavertail truck, completing 8-10 deliveries per day. This role involves the transportation and delivery of a wide range of plant, access, and construction equipment to customer sites.
Equipment You'll Be Delivering:
- Boom lifts (including spider & trailer-mounted booms)
- Scissor lifts & low-level lifts
- Telehandlers, diggers & forklifts
- Skips & construction equipment
- Portable toilets & hoists
- Non-mechanical work platforms
- Generators, heating equipment, concrete mixers & dehumidifiers
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Ideally a clean licence (maximum 6 points)
- Minimum 2 years Class 2 driving experience
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Physically fit and safety-conscious
What We Offer:
- £15.50 per hour starting rate, £18.00 per hour if trained in plant delivery
- Overtime: Mon-Fri normal rate, Saturdays time and a half, Sundays double time
- Paid breaks
