We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Building Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in delivering high-quality engineering design and consultancy services across a diverse portfolio of projects.

You will be responsible for providing expert technical advice, leading discipline-specific design work, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and technical delivery of M&E building services projects
  • Provide consultancy services including site surveys, feasibility studies, due diligence, and technical reporting
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and cost targets are met
  • Act as discipline lead on projects where required
  • Coordinate effectively with internal teams, external consultants, and clients
  • Attend and lead meetings, providing clear and professional updates and reports
  • Prepare and review technical documentation including specifications, calculations, and schedules
  • Conduct site inspections, condition surveys, and defect analysis
  • Support commissioning activities and review as-fitted drawings and O&M documentation
  • Identify and manage project risks, including producing MEP residual risk reports in line with CDM regulations
  • Promote sustainability and energy-efficient design solutions
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, graduates, and trainees
  • Contribute to business development activities, including fee proposals and technical bids

  • Proven experience in an engineering role within M&E building services
  • Proven experience working in consultancy
  • Strong technical design and report writing skills
  • Ability to manage workload independently with minimal supervision

  • Strong understanding of project cost control and commercial awareness
  • Experience working across multiple projects and disciplines
