Location: M17/M28 (travelling between Trafford and Worsley)

Hours: Full-Time – 40 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Flexibility required across rotating shifts:

  • 06:00 – 14:00
  • 14:00 – 22:00

Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per year (depending on experience) + 10% bonus scheme

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead our outbound warehouse operation. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will oversee the daily picking, packing, and dispatch process, ensuring operational efficiency, high service standards, and strong team performance. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage performance, drive continuous improvement, and support a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all outbound warehouse operations
  • Ensure orders are dispatched accurately and within service level targets
  • Monitor operational performance, productivity, and KPIs
  • Manage labour planning and resource allocation effectively
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
  • Support and develop warehouse teams to maintain high performance
  • Work closely with transport, logistics, and planning teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Handle operational escalations and maintain business continuity during shifts

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior warehouse or operations management role
  • Strong knowledge of outbound warehouse operations
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of warehouse systems and Microsoft Office
  • A qualification in Warehouse Operations or Supply Chain Management is desirable
