We are recruiting for an experienced and committed Senior Residential Support Worker to join a children’s residential home in Burton-on-Trent, supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs within a therapeutic and nurturing environment. Pay & Benefits
- £14.10 per hour
- £80 per sleep-in
- Additional £1.25 per hour overtime rate after 170 hours per month
- Full-time contract with ongoing training and progression opportunities
Shift Pattern
The rota typically consists of 7:30am – 11:00pm shifts followed by sleep-ins from 11:00pm – 8:00am. The usual pattern is one full shift and sleep-in followed by two days off, with a mixture of 2–3 shifts per week including weekends.
The Role
You will support children and young people with their daily routines, education, emotional wellbeing, and independence skills while promoting a safe and positive environment within the home. The role involves safeguarding responsibilities, behaviour management, key working, care planning, and liaising with external agencies.
