We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction business for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take a lead commercial role on their residential portfolio. If you have a background in housing and residential schemes and are looking for a senior position where your expertise will genuinely be valued, we'd love to hear from you.

The role involves managing the full cost lifecycle of residential projects — from early-stage procurement and subcontractor management through to final accounts. You will also provide support and mentoring to junior members of the commercial team.

What we're looking for:

  • Substantial experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a contracting environment
  • Residential or housing scheme experience is highly desirable
  • Confident managing subcontractor packages, valuations, and cost reporting
  • RICS qualified or working towards chartership (preferred, not essential)
  • Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships
