We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction business for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take a lead commercial role on their residential portfolio. The role involves managing the full cost lifecycle of residential projects — from early-stage procurement and subcontractor management through to final accounts. You will also provide support and mentoring to junior members of the commercial team.
What we're looking for:
- Substantial experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a contracting environment
- Residential or housing scheme experience is highly desirable
- Confident managing subcontractor packages, valuations, and cost reporting
- RICS qualified or working towards chartership (preferred, not essential)
- Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships
