Residential Support Worker (Children's Services) Location: Various locations across the UK Salary: £12.50 – £15.00 per hour Full-time/Part-time: Agency shifts About Us: We provide care and support to children and young people in residential settings. We’re looking for passionate, empathetic individuals with the right experience to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of children in our care. Role Overview: As a Residential Support Worker, you will support children with daily routines, promote their emotional and social development, and help them build life skills in a safe, nurturing environment. You will work as part of a team to ensure the wellbeing and safety of the children, helping them to reach their potential. Key Responsibilities: * Provide care, emotional support, and daily assistance to children. * Support personal care, mealtimes, schoolwork, and activities. * Promote independence, positive behaviour, and life skills. * Work with the team to create and implement care plans. * Ensure the safety of children, adhering to safeguarding protocols. * Build positive, trusting relationships with the children. Ideal Candidate: * At least 12 months of experience working within a residential setting. * NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People Workforce (or equivalent). * Compassionate, patient, and able to manage challenging behaviors. * Strong communication skills and a commitment to child protection. * Flexible, reliable, and proactive team player.
