CareerMakers Recruitment is currently looking for Production Engineers to join our client based in Accrington, BB5 area.
Duties:
- Support production with technical issues and problem solving.
- Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Create and update work instructions and production documentation.
- Assist with the introduction of new products into production.
- Investigate production faults and help implement corrective actions.
- Work with Production, Quality, and Design teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Ensure products meet customer, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Help improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Support the maintenance and improvement of tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance with company health and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate engineering and production records.
- Assist with engineering changes and updates to manufacturing processes.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production staff.
Skills and experience:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Organised and able to manage workload effectively.
Working hours: Monday - Thursday: 7.45am - 4.15pm, Friday: 7:45am - 1:45pm
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE
