Duties:
- Operate industrial sewing machines to sew fabric and upholstery materials for office furniture.
- Follow technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate stitching and assembly of furniture components.
- Cut, measure, and trim materials to size as required.
- Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet the company’s high standards.
- Maintain sewing machines and equipment, troubleshooting any issues and ensuring optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery of furniture components.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following health and safety guidelines.
- Adhere to company policies and quality control procedures.
Skills:
- Experience with industrial sewing machines, including overlock and flatbed machines.
- Strong understanding of different upholstery materials, including fabric, leather, and vinyl.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
