CareerMakers are currently looking for a Piping Commissioning Engineer to join our client in the Deeside, CH5 area.
Start Date: Immediately
Hours of Work: Monday-Friday 07:00am-17:30pm
Responsibilities
- Verify correct installation of all pipework, supports, and routing as per design specifications
- Read, interpret, and work from P&ID, isometric, and general arrangement drawings
- Monitor commissioning progress and report updates or delays to site management
- Communicate effectively with construction, QA/QC, and commissioning teams to resolve technical issues
- Perform detailed inspections of piping systems to ensure compliance with project standards
- Identify and record any non-conformances or outstanding works through structured punch list processes
- Liaise with welding inspectors and support quality assurance in line with industry codes and procedures
- Support pressure testing, flushing, and final system handover activities
- Maintain accurate documentation throughout the commissioning process
Requirements
- Strong experience in piping commissioning
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of team
- Valid CSCS and relevant qualifications
- References from previous works
