About Us: Our client is one of the UKs leading Building Management System (BMS) Integrators. The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role. Following continued growth and success across a range of sectors, we are looking to expand our team with the addition of a BMS Service Engineer based out of our Leeds office, covering sites across Yorkshire.
The Role: As a BMS Service Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving our clients building systems. You will be responsible for delivering planned maintenance, responding to reactive callouts, and carrying out small works and upgrades to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) visits, including thorough checks of controllers and field devices.
- Produce clear, detailed service reports following each visit.
- Manage and organise your own PPM schedule effectively.
- Identify energy-saving opportunities and communicate these to clients and the office.
- Attend and respond to reactive callouts, ensuring a prompt and professional service.
- Liaise directly with clients on-site, explaining system performance and outcomes in both technical and non-technical terms.
- Carry out small remedial works, including controller upgrades and panel modifications.
- Ensure all reports and documentation are completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Work in line with company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
- Solid technical knowledge of BMS systems.
- Experience working with platforms such as: Trend, Tridium, Siemens.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
