About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our growing team. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing daily operations within a busy fabrication and welding environment. The successful candidate will ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This is a four-day working week, offering excellent work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day production activities
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of fabrication/welding operatives
- Ensure production schedules and deadlines are achieved
- Monitor quality control and maintain high manufacturing standards
- Enforce health & safety policies and procedures
- Identify process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste
- Report on performance, output, and any operational issues
Requirements
- Proven experience in a fabrication, welding, or similar manufacturing background (essential)
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience preferred
- Strong understanding of production processes and workflow management
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving ability
