Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per year (or depending on experience)

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Join a dynamic warehouse team in Swinton specialising in high-quality homeware distribution and e-commerce operations. We are looking for an experienced Shift Manager to lead warehouse operations during the afternoon shift, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and excellent team performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring timely order processing, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Manage stock storage, organisation, and inventory accuracy while maintaining safety standards.
  • Supervise loading and unloading activities and coordinate with logistics teams for smooth dispatch operations.
  • Lead, motivate, and support warehouse operatives, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
  • Drive KPI performance, identify process improvements, and resolve operational bottlenecks.
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety procedures and company policies.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles.
  • Essential: Previous e-commerce warehouse experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong organisational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is advantageous.
  • Good understanding of warehouse health and safety regulations.
