We are currently recruiting a Senior Childrens Residential Support Worker to join a passionate and dedicated team at a new 3-bed residential service in Radcliffe. The service supports mixed-gender young people aged 10-17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). There are currently 2 young people placed in the home.
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable young people through their challenges, providing stability, guidance, and positive role modelling to help them achieve better outcomes in life.
Key Responsibilities- Support and safeguard children and young people in line with care plans
- Act as a role model and provide leadership to the staff team on shift
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Maintain professional boundaries and uphold safeguarding standards
- Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and structured home environment
- Previous experience as a Senior Residential Support Worker or Team Leader
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
- Level 3 or Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- Must be aged 22 or over (to meet Ofsted regulations)
- Full UK driving licence
- Competitive salary of £32,000 per annum
