CareerMakers Recruitment are looking for a Press Brake Operator to join our busy client in Lytham (FY8). The overall purpose of the role is to work individually and on occasions as part of a team to operate a range of machinery to produce a variety of metal materials with manual and automated equipment, to a high quality standard meeting hourly production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining high quality standards at all times for standard and bespoke products.
- Proactive communication with supervisors, managers and Quality Control regarding production, quality and H&S issues.
- Regular quality checks.
Requirements:
- Previous experience of Trumpf machines.
- Practical awareness of lean manufacturing and understanding of 5S activities.
- Previous experience of working in engineering sheet metal production, setting and operating CNC press-brakes.
Working Hours: Nights: Mon - Thurs, 6pm - 6am.
