CareerMakers Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing weekend trunking work based in Carrington. This is clean, straightforward depot-to-depot trunking with no manual handling, no loading or unloading just simple trunking runs using modern, well-maintained vehicles. Whether you're looking to supplement your income with weekend work or prefer part-time driving, this role offers flexible shifts, excellent rates of pay and ongoing work every weekend.
Pay Rates (PAYE)
- Saturday Days: £20.00 per hour or £22.41 per hour Including Holiday pay
- Saturday Nights: £21.00 per hour or £23.53 per hour Including Holiday pay
- Sunday Days: £21.00 per hour or £23.53 per hour Including Holiday pay
- Sunday Nights: £23.00 per hour or £25.77 per hour Including Holiday pay
The Role
- Depot-to-depot trunking.
- No manual handling or unloading.
- Drive modern, well-maintained Class 1 vehicles.
- Complete vehicle safety checks before and after each shift.
- Complete all relevant paperwork accurately.
- Follow all road transport legislation and health & safety procedures.
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience (new passes may also be considered).
- No more than 6 penalty points.
- No DD, DR or IN endorsements.
- Reliable, professional and punctual.
