Position: HGV CE- Up to 8 drops
Location: Liverpool L11
Salary: PAYE £16.36/h for first 40h/week, Overtime after 40h £24.54/h, Additionally 28 days of paid holidays
Working Hours: Monday to Friday- 08:00am-10:00am starts
Info: We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our well-established clients based in the Liverpool area. We are looking for multiple class 1 drivers to work for a company that is dedicated to providing efficient and reliable transportation services across the UK. Due to increasing demand, we are seeking experienced and professional class 1 drivers to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery and collections of parcels around the Liverpool and surrounding area
- Performing manual lifting as part of the role
- Handling packages with care, ensuring they are securely loaded and unloaded to prevent damage
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including any deviations from the planned route or schedule
- Load own vehicle
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to various destinations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle conditions, and any incidents
- Adhere to all driving regulations, company policies, and health & safety standards
Requirements:
- Valid Class C+E driving license
- Digital Tachograph card needed
- CPC Driver Qualification card
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Class CE Driver due to insurance purposes
- Strong knowledge of UK road networks and driving regulations
- A professional attitude with excellent time-management skills
- No more than 6 points due to insurance purposes
