About the Role: CareerMakers Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced 7.5 Tonne (Category C1) Drivers for a temp-to-perm opportunity based in LS27. This role involves delivering food products to restaurants and hospitality venues. Drivers must be comfortable with manual handling and providing excellent customer service.

Duties:

  • Deliver food products to restaurants and hospitality venues.
  • Complete 8-12 deliveries per shift.
  • Handball and cage work involved.
  • Carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
  • Complete delivery paperwork and PODs accurately.
  • Provide excellent customer service at delivery points.
  • Comply with all road transport legislation and health & safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Valid UK Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) Licence.
  • Minimum 24 months' commercial driving experience.
  • Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Physically fit and able to carry out heavy manual handling.
  • Reliable, professional and customer-focused.
  • No more than 6 penalty points.
  • No DD, DR or IN endorsements.
