Registered Manager Childrens Residential Care Home

Location: Hull, East Yorkshire

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (DOE)

Hours: Monday to Friday with on-call rota

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Manager to lead a brand-new childrens residential care home in Hull. The home will support up to 3 young people aged 8-17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties, offering a safe, nurturing, and stable environment. You will have the chance to shape the service from the very beginning, including supporting the Ofsted registration, and building a strong, values-led team. All policies and procedures are already in place, giving you the freedom to focus on leadership, quality care, and positive outcomes for children and young people.

Flexible Start Options

  • Pre-registration involvement (part-time / remote) with paid monthly support
  • £1,000 bonus following a successful Ofsted interview
  • Fully funded Level 5 Diploma
  • Opportunity to move into the full-time Registered Manager role once registration is complete

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the home in line with regulatory and quality standards
  • Promoting safeguarding and high-quality care
  • Recruiting, developing, and supporting staff
  • Working with families, professionals, and placing authorities
  • Managing day-to-day operations, budgets, and compliance
  • Leading quality assurance and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in childrens residential care
  • Strong understanding of Ofsted requirements
  • Passion for safeguarding and improving outcomes for children
  • Willingness to complete (or already hold) the Level 5 qualification
  • Confident, values-driven leadership style
