Careermakers is recruiting part-time and full-time professional experienced Vehicle Collection & Delivery drivers to complement our client current team. As one of our drivers you will be provided with vehicle movements for collection and delivery of a commercial vehicles from a multitude of locations for businesses retail customers. Theres no loading/ unloading, no handball as you deliver trucks itself! The role includes: Vehicle delivery direct to customer and to another depot Collecting vehicles from customer when coming off hire, or from another depot Taking a driver to collect a vehicle or picking a driver up who has made a delivery Accurate completion of all relevant paperwork You will need a PPE safety boots and high viz Work wear dark cargo type trousers or black jeans, dark polo t-shirt, dark sweatshirt or jumper, coat. You need to present: Valid drivers licence and a clean driving record with no traffic violations Valid CPC and Digi-Tacho cards Good communication and teamwork skills The knowledge and initiative to solve basic problems and make routine decisions This is a client facing position, you need to show good interpersonal skills The ability to complete paperwork in an orderly fashion Strong organisational and prioritization skills No more than 6 points on your licence with no major endorsements (DR10, IN10, TT99, CD40) About job: Work starts between 7 am and 7.30 am Work is temporary, ongoing, full-time, Monday to Friday with paid overtime available Pay rate: £18-£20.17 (holiday included) No Multi drop, no heavy lifting, no handball!
