CareerMakers Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced FLT Counterbalance / Dispatch Operative to join a busy food production environment on a night shift basis. This role offers a 50/50 split between FLT Counterbalance duties and Dispatch responsibilities, ideal for candidates who enjoy a hands-on and varied warehouse role within a fast-paced setting.
Duties will include:
- Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving stock and finished goods across warehouse and production areas
- Preparing and checking orders for dispatch
- Completing dispatch paperwork accurately
- Ensuring products are correctly labelled and ready for shipment
- Supporting stock control and warehouse organisation
- Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a valid Counterbalance FLT licence
- Has previous warehouse, dispatch, or food production experience
- Works well in a fast-paced environment
- Has good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Is reliable and flexible with a positive attitude
- Can work independently and as part of a team
