A well-established and growing building services and heating specialist is looking to recruit 2 Commercial Gas Engineers to join their expanding Northwest team. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced engineers seeking a stable permanent role with long-term career prospects and varied commercial work.

The Role: You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault finding, and repairing a range of commercial heating systems across sites including schools, hospitals, council buildings, and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fault finding, servicing, and repair of commercial heating systems, boilers, pumps, valves, and plant room equipment
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, annual servicing, and safety inspections
  • Installation and commissioning of commercial gas equipment
  • Completing job sheets and associated paperwork accurately
  • Maintaining high health & safety standards at all times
  • Providing a professional service to customers on-site

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 / City & Guilds qualification or equivalent ACS Commercial Gas qualifications
  • Proven experience working on commercial heating systems
  • Strong plumbing and mechanical knowledge
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Experience:

  • Oil systems
  • Catering equipment
  • Electrical or BMS knowledge
  • Renewable technologies / heat pumps
