About the Role
CareerMakers Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a well-established client based in Bradford. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure ongoing, full-time work with the potential to become a permanent member of the team. The role involves delivering food products to restaurants and hospitality venues, so applicants must be comfortable with manual handling and providing excellent customer service.
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- Start times between 05:00 and 09:00
- Approximately 10-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food products to restaurants and hospitality venues.
- Complete 8-12 deliveries per shift.
- Load and unload goods using cages and manual handling techniques.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
- Complete delivery paperwork and proof of delivery accurately.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards.
- Comply with all road transport legislation and company health & safety procedures.
Requirements
- Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Licence.
- Minimum 12 months' commercial Class 2 driving experience.
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling.
- No more than 6 penalty points.
- No DD, DR or IN endorsements.
- Reliable, professional and customer-focused.
