Clinical / Forensic Psychologist
Location: Wiltshire (Melksham, Devizes, Salisbury) | Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hrs | Salary: £60,000 | Hybrid + Travel Required
Were looking for an HCPC-registered Clinical or Forensic Psychologist to bring expertise, compassion, and innovation to childrens residential and supported accommodation services in Wiltshire. Youll work across multiple homes, including a specialist assessment home, helping to transform the lives of children and young people with complex needs and high-risk behaviours.
What youll do:
- Deliver psychological assessments, formulations, and evidence-based interventions (CBT, trauma-focused CBT, EMDR, systemic approaches).
- Provide consultation, reflective practice, and training for staff teams.
- Collaborate with multi-agency partners within safeguarding frameworks and court processes.
- Embed trauma-informed and psychologically informed approaches to care.
What youll need:
- Doctoral-level training & HCPC registration.
- In-depth knowledge of child/adolescent development, attachment, trauma & ACEs.
- Experience with high-risk behaviours in 24/7 staffed environments.
- Full UK driving licence & own car.
