HGV Class 2 Driver- Monday to Friday in Bradford

Pay Rate:

• £15.00 per hour (PAYE)
• £16.81 per hour (Including Holiday Pay)

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 05:00 and 09:00
• Approximately 10-hour shifts

About the Role

CareerMakers Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a temp-to-perm opportunity based in Bradford. This role involves delivering food products to restaurants and hospitality venues. The successful candidate must be comfortable carrying out manual handling and providing excellent customer service.

Duties

• Complete deliveries to restaurants and hospitality venues.
• Carry out 8–12 deliveries per shift.
• Handball and cage work involved.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks.
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and PODs.
• Deliver a professional service to customers.
• Comply with all road transport legislation and health & safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Licence.
• Minimum 12 months' commercial Class 2 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• No DD, DR or IN endorsements.
• Reliable, professional and customer-focused.
