We are looking for a Site Services Engineer to join our growing team. This role involves maintaining and repairing our fleet of towable welfare units and telehandlers, ensuring all equipment remains safe, compliant, and in excellent working condition. The company supplies a range of lifting machinery and construction equipment to sites across the UK. The successful candidate will work both on-site and at our depot, carrying out scheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and general upkeep of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out periodic and preventative maintenance on towable welfare units and telehandlers
  • Perform on-site and depot-based repairs
  • Conduct periodic examinations (LOLER)
  • Complete servicing and testing schedules accurately and efficiently
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engine, hydraulic, generator, and basic electrical faults
  • Ensure all assets are clean, presentable, and maintained to a high standard
  • Assist with repairs and maintenance of the powered access fleet when required
  • Maintain accurate service and maintenance records

What to Expect:

  • Travel is required as we operate nationwide, but most work will be based across the Northwest and Midlands
  • Occasional overnight hotel stays will be required depending on workload and location

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Moderate knowledge of 25 cylinder diesel engines
  • Experience working with generators and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to carry out basic electrical and auto-electrical fault finding
  • Proven experience building and following structured service schedules
  • Strong practical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Qualifications:

  • LOLER licence (Telehandler category) preferred but not essential
