An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Children's Home Manager to lead a 2-bed residential children's home. This role is ideal for a passionate and adaptable leader with experience supporting children with Learning Disabilities (LD) and/or Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
The successful candidate will have full responsibility for the leadership, development, and day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for children aged 8-17 years.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the daily operations of the residential home.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding requirements, and quality standards.
- Create and maintain a child-centred, therapeutic, and outcomes-focused environment.
- Recruit, lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing staff team.
- Oversee budgets, staffing rotas, and overall service performance.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with professionals, families, and external stakeholders.
- Promote positive outcomes and life opportunities for children and young people.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years' experience within residential childcare.
- Experience working within Learning Disabilities (LD) and/or Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) services.
- Strong understanding of children's residential regulations, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
