We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for our client based in Preston (PR2). This is an ongoing Monday to Friday role with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract with the company.

Job Details:

  • Role: HGV Class 1 Driver (Collections Only)
  • Location: Preston (PR2)
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Pay Rate: £15.28 per hour + 28 days paid holiday
  • After 12 weeks: £16.36 per hour + 28 days paid holiday
  • Overtime after 40 hours
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Type: Ongoing work / temp-to-perm opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out collection-only routes (no deliveries)
  • Complete up to 10 collection stops per day
  • Perform manual handling when required
  • Ensure safe and compliant vehicle operation
  • Complete paperwork and follow site procedures

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Minimum 12 months Class 1 experience
  • Good knowledge of UK road networks
  • Reliable and professional approach
