Are you an experienced residential childcare professional looking for your next step? Our client, a trusted children's residential care provider with over 25 years experience, is seeking a Deputy Manager to support their Liverpool home.
The Role:
You will assist the Registered Manager in overseeing the daily running of the home, leading a team of dedicated staff, and ensuring young people receive the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Registered Manager in day-to-day management
- Supervise and mentor residential staff
- Help organise staff rotas, activities, and resources
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted and regulatory standards
- Promote positive outcomes for young people with complex needs
Requirements:
- Experience in residential childcare, ideally in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of EBD, SEMH, and other complex behaviours
- Leadership and organisational skills
- NVQ Level 3 or higher in Health & Social Care (Level 5 Leadership desirable)
Benefits:
- £16.83 per hour
