We are currently seeking reliable drivers to support our operations in and around Liverpool, offering competitive pay rates and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a 7.5-ton vehicle safely and efficiently to transport goods and packages to various locations within Preston and the surrounding areas.
  • Follow designated routes and adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any issues promptly.
  • Handle packages with care, ensuring they are loaded and unloaded securely to prevent damage.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any deviations from the planned route or schedule.
  • Up to 20 stops.

Requirements:

  • Valid UK driving license with category C1 entitlement for 7.5-ton vehicles.
  • Proven experience as a 7.5-ton driver, preferably in a delivery or logistics environment.
  • Excellent driving skills with a strong focus on safety and adherence to regulations.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • CPC and Tacho.
  • Excellent local knowledge of Haydock, St Helens and Windle is essential.

We offer competitive pay at a rate of £15.07 per hour + 28 days paid holidays per year. After 12 weeks, pay rate raises up to £16.05/h and you start getting overtime rate after 40h x 1.5.
