About the Role:
CareerMakers Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced 7.5 Tonne (Category C1) Drivers for a temp-to-perm opportunity based in LS27. This role involves delivering food products to restaurants and hospitality venues. Drivers must be comfortable with manual handling and providing excellent customer service.
Duties:
- Deliver food products to restaurants and hospitality venues.
- Complete 8-12 deliveries per shift.
- Handball and cage work involved.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
- Complete delivery paperwork and PODs accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points.
- Comply with all road transport legislation and health & safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid UK Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) Licence.
- Minimum 24 months' commercial driving experience.
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Physically fit and able to carry out heavy manual handling.
- Reliable, professional and customer-focused.
- No more than 6 penalty points.
- No DD, DR or IN endorsements.
